We have been a supporter of the Pickering Public Library for many years, with access to its central library boardroom for our TECH Club business, now retired.
However, the new POLICY being considered by the PPL has caused us to rethink our support of the library. This policy is detrimental and deleterious to the book clubs this very library created. As of June 2019, these book clubs, originally created by the library, will be terminated from active association with the library. Now, demanded to pay for public space access, no longer to get support or assistance from library personnel. It is a policy which we cannot accept.
