Selecting the TOP MOVIES is a very subjective challenge for many reasons:
- personal taste
- personal biases
- need to view many, many movies
Furthermore, it is far easier to criticize someone else’s choices as opposed to putting one’s self up as the target for others’ criticisms.
Recently, I was reading a retirees’ publication from The Retired Teachers of Ontario and found an interesting piece written by John Borovilos where he lists his 25 TOP MOVIES for 2015. I agree with many of his selections but I have not seen all the listed movies. Here is his list: ( I have seen the ones in RED. )
- Steve Jobs
- Sicario
- Spotlight
- While We’re Young
- Ex Machina
- The Martian
- The Gift
- Room
- Spy
- Love and Mercy
- Kingsman: The Secret Service
- Bridge of Spies
- Cop Car
- Mr. Holmes
- Boychoir
- Youth
- Testament of Youth
- Trainwreck
- Learning to Drive
