Visit ALBERTA, the BANFF area and do the Columbia Icefields: spectacular scenery, indescribable mountain vistas…all threatened by global warming. When you see how the glaciers are receding, you will not need convincing that global warming is real and a threat to the ecosystems of the entire world.
But Alberta is a great holiday destination, particularly if you can go to the Calgary STAMPEDE. Albertans are great hosts and Calgary becomes a really exciting city to visit during the Stampede time.
My recommendation: fly out and rent a car so you can tour the national parks, the Kananaskis Valley and the mountains. It is a spectacular part of Canada to visit.
