The City launches a state of the art computer lab at Petticoat Creek Community Centre and offers its first computer courses for beginners.
The City of Pickering has built a very compact, comfortable and up to date computer lab at Petticoat Creek Community Centre where it will launch its first courses for computer beginners in September.
The computer lab is equipped with the latest Dell computers running WINDOWS 10. The first course offered in the lab will be for beginners and also for those who are new to WINDOWS 10. The 2-hour course sessions will run for 6 weeks beginning Sept. 22.
Besides the basics of Windows 10, the course will also cover the fundamentals of Gmailing and the Internet.
Because the lab is restricted in the number of computer stations, persons interested in enrolling in this inaugural session are encouraged to register early to avoid disappointment.
