New Friends Book Shop offers you gently used books. After our operational expenses, we support two local shelters for women/families in need and troubled youth. We are volunteer staffed and fill our shelves with books on hundreds of subjects; fact, fiction, mysteries, classics, biographies, world affairs, the list is endless. Our patrons are mostly local residents and businesses and we rely on them to drop off used books for resale to regular clientele.
Like fine wines, New Friends has a limited selection of vintage movies, CD’s, audio books and vinyl disks. Books are $1-$3 and even less in our youth section.
For dedicated collectors, we have some first editions and some author signed books, plus well-preserved hardcovers.
Finally, as we support community-based charities, we respectfully ask for your donations to help these local organizations.
