Boil your eggs properly
You’re boiling your eggs incorrectly if they have a grey ring around the yolk.
Eggs should never be cooked in a pot at a rolling boil.
- Starting slowly with a pot of cold water.
- Submerge your eggs and on medium heat bring the water to a soft boil.
- Cover the pot and remove from the heat, allowing the eggs to remain in the hot water bath for 12 minutes.
- At 12 minutes, place the eggs in the ice bath to stop the cooking process.
