Privacy watchdog to investigate StatsCan research into the banking habits of 500,000 Canadians

Even Ottawa is violating privacy rights of Canadians with the excuse that it needs economic stats for better analysis of the Canadian economy. With that excuse, it invades banking records of over a half million Canadians for its own analytical purposes.
