Printer toner supplier with excellent service

Need toner for your printer? Here’s a Canadian company that delivers in every sense…quality, efficiencyy and at very reasonable prices.

Ace Toner Parts began as a printer toner supplier company delivering high-quality replacement toner cartridges for a tremendous variety of printers…to your door.

About toner
Printers need ink and that ink is called toner. This company sells an amazing variety of printer toners for both inkjet and laser printers. Their cartridges are excellent quality but at a 50-60% less cost of toner sold by well-known printer companies such as Canon and Xerox.

Inkjet printers
Inkjet printing is a type of computer printing that recreates a digital image by propelling droplets of ink on to paper, plastic, or other substrates. Inkjet printers are the most commonly used type of printer and range from small inexpensive consumer models to expensive professional machines.

The advantage of inkjet printers is that they can print on applique paper, a paper which allows you to transfer the image printed on it to cloth like a t-shirt, usually by applying heat with an iron. It is a very practical way to customize shirts or any textile material provided it is flat and you can iron it.

The disadvantages of inkjet printing are that the image printed is wet at the outset and can be smudged. Even when dry, ink jet printed material seems to fade or is less vibrant than the costlier process of laser printing.

Laser printers
Laser printing is an electrostatic digital printing process. It produces high-quality text and graphics (and moderate-quality photographs) by repeatedly passing a laser beam back and forth over a negatively charged cylinder called a “drum” to define a differentially charged image. The drum then selectively collects electrically charged powdered ink (toner), and transfers the image to paper, which is then heated in order to permanently fuse the text, imagery, or both. As with digital photocopiers, laser printers employ a xerographic printing process. However, laser printing differs from analog photocopiers in that the image is produced by the direct scanning of the medium across the printer’s photoreceptor. This enables laser printing to copy images more quickly than most photocopiers.

The advantages of laser printing compared to inkjet are twofold, much higher quality results and printing that is completely dry and fused to the paper. Laser printed images tend to keep their high-quality with no fading as inkjet printing.

The disadvantage of laser printers is cost. These printers are high technology and produce printing that is comparable to that produced in businesses but that advantage is offset by their high cost. Laser printers may be found at budget prices but for value for the dollar, one is better off buying a well-known brand as opposed to the lower priced knockoffs.

Toner
Both printers, inkjet, and laser use toner which is delivered to the paper by amazingly compact toner cartridges. Premium printers tend to use toner more effectively, therefore replacement is less frequent. Also, more expensive printers will have a very distinct advantage to cheaper ones in that they will likely have an oversized black toner cartridge used much more as most text is often printed in black rather than colour.

Side story:
We had blotchy red printing on our printouts recently on our Canon laser printer, a printer which has worked very well for a number of years until this issue. A call to Canon placed the blame for our printing issue on third party toners. The Canon rep explained that the fuser was probably clogged and would need professional servicing, a very expensive endeavor. They felt replacing the printer itself might be a more reasonable consideration.

An email to Ace Toner Parts got a response within one day and their rep explained that fusers were a part of the cartridge, so replacing the magenta cartridge would resolve our problem. The rep was very skeptical about the advice offered by Canon. Canon toner cartridges are near twice the cost of those Ace Toner Parts supplies. The Ace rep also added that cartridges are manufactured and filled by various companies throughout the world from Mexico to India and China. He explained that quality production varies greatly with these various countries.

Luckily, we had a spare toner cartridge as we purchase supplementary cartridges periodically to always have replacements on hand. Ace Toner Parts often has sales giving added savings to purchasers. Additionally, the company often bundles toner packages where multiple colours are bundled in a single well-priced package.

Replacing the magenta cartridge solved the problem completely just as the Ace rep advised. Furthermore, Ace is sending us a replacement magenta cartridge at no charge.
