Clock falls back…but spring hasn’t moved forward yet

Spring, still missing in action.

Is it Spring yet? Guess not. Not with all that snow, we have been getting recently. Hope the expression is correct. In like a lion, out like a lamb.

Lots to do this month, even in the cold.

March 10 is daylight saving time where your clocks spring ahead one hour.

St Patty’s day is March 17. Wear green and perhaps try some of that green beer, or other things green. Green Top Hats, shirts, ties even glasses are available everywhere. T’is for the Luck of the Irish.

Darlene and I will be attending a party of all things green. This is a great way to break up the winter blahs and blues when mingling with friends.

The weekend of March 9-10 starts Maple Syrup festivals in many locations throughout the Durham Region. Get out there with family and friends to enjoy what nature has to offer. Many locations will have maple syrup tasting, pancakes and sample to take home, wagon rides and so much more. Make sure you call ahead to reserve entry tickets as I’m told they sell out fast.

March 21 is the official first day of spring. Yeah! Bring it on. Had enough of this cold weather.
