Pricing and product transit

Prices:
At one time, many years ago, the USA seemed to be the place to go for deals. Prices were lower. No longer. Not only are prices higher for comparable products in Canada, but factor in the dollar conversion and you can see how Americans pay much more than we do in Canada, much more. Worse, Americans accept it.

Cross country transportation:
Many agricultural products sold in Florida come from elsewhere, California, Mexico, Chile, and often these transported products cost less than the locally grown. Grocery shopping in Florida: oranges from California, can you believe it, asparagus from Mexico, blueberries from Chile…and all at lower cost compared to the local produce.
