Remember Movember

The first big snow of November happened a few days ago. It was gone within a day or so. But the cold temps stayed around. Got my winter tires put on the car.

Today we are supposed to get much more snow which could accumulate 10cm to 15cm (Imperial term is 4 to 6 inches). That’s a lot! Glad on the weekend I got to put the motorcycle to bed for the winter and was able to get the pull chord replaced on our snow blower. It started up with only two pulls. Proud of myself for accomplishing this.

Today, Nov. 11, we will observe Remembrance Day. Wear a Poppy in respect for those who fought for our freedom in many campaigns worldwide and for those that are still deployed throughout the world. Respect for all.

The Salvation Army Christmas Kettles begin this coming weekend in many locations. Please contribute to this cause to help local families and individuals in need. Every bit helps.

Have a great month and don’t forget the Movember movement to help fight cancer.
