Week 3 in isolation….cabin fever’s settin’ in. Hiya Everyone!
Checking in today while thinking about our emotional well-being, and I will do so with a word of caution, people are going stir crazy from being LOCKED IN!
I’ve actually discussed this with the microwave and toaster, over a coffee this morning. We all agreed that the situation is burning us all up. I didn’t mention anything to the washing machine as she puts a whole different spin on things and certainly not to the fridge. He’s acting very cold and distant.
In the end, the iron calmed me down as she was hard-pressed saying that everything will be fine and that no situation is that pressing. The vacuum cleaner was very unsympathetic, telling me to just suck it up, but the fan was more optimistic and hoped it would all soon blow over! The toilet looked a bit flushed when I asked for his opinion and didn’t say anything, but the doorknob told me to get a grip! The front door said I was becoming unhinged and the curtains told me to … yes, you guessed it … pull myself together!
