The worm, the tube, the bridge, known by different names the bridge crossing the busy Hwy 401 with its multiple lanes, is a boon to Pickering resides who need to cross over to the other side from the Pickering Town Centre to the GO train station over one of the busiest city-crossing highways in North America.
This enclosed walkway is a quarter of kilometre in length, making it the longest covered walkway bridge in the world, Confirmed by the Guinness Book of Records.
