Hello Pickering voters of Ward 3,
My wife, Anchana, and I are raising our son in Pickering, and it is very important for us that future generations of our family have strong roots in this community. I have fallen in love with this beautiful city and its people and want to make it better and stronger for all.
As a Mortgage Broker for the past six years, I have dedicated myself to helping others during their biggest financial decision. With my skill sets and experience, I know I can create new solutions to the current issues in town. Through my involvement in our community, I’ve met many locals from all walks of life with valid concerns, ranging from high property tax to protecting our vulnerable green spaces.
I am determined to bring about change, including:
- Attaining affordable housing and alleviating the high tax burden on residential taxpayers
- Supporting responsible development and building sustainable infrastructure
- Enhancing Pickering’s economy by attracting more large-scale businesses by promoting the designated innovation corridor
The job of a city councilor is to fight for the interests of the residents which in Ward 3 has not been the case over the last 4 years.
When elected, I will be the voice of the people!
