Journalists complain about low voter turnout and you are right that it is the biggest threat to democracy. If the media are truly keen on promoting democracy, then you should do your job which is not to decide for the public but to inform the public of the choices available.
Profiles should be done of all the candidates, no matter what your opinion of them. At least let voters judge.
If the media constantly tell voters that one person is definitely going to win and all the others have no chance and even goes so far as to say that they are not the right choice, what motivation is there to vote?
