Clay Jannon loses his job at the Bagel Store where he had been doing computerized marketing and web promotion for the company.
Clay’s hunt for employment culminates in the unique and unusual Mr. Penumbra 24 Hour Book Store where he is assigned the night shift clerk position. He works 10pm till 6am, a grave yard shift for book sales he assumes. Patrons do arrive intermittently.
