“Corrupt bastard” was the insulting slur a parliamentary protestor spewed at NDP leader Jagmeet Singh.
The protestor is lucky as Singh holds at least a blue belt in judo and would likely have done serious physical injury to the protestor had the person gotten physical.
How close to political leaders should protestors be allowed to approach or how far should they be allowed to extend their protest?
In this day and age, people are becoming more and aggressive in their actions, particularly in how they voice their complaints and gripes on the Internet. If Singh had acted physically against the protestor, the media would have been all over the NDP leader. The protestor was lucky Singh restrained himself.
