The City of Pickering has many associations, organizations and corporations deserving of public acknowledgement and appreciation. In no special order, here is a list of some of these special members of the Community of Pickering.

This neighbourhood association has been contributing to the City of Pickering for almost 100 years old. It donates money, supports scholarships and contributes to the development and improvement of the City in many ways.
This grocery retailer has provided more than 400 lunches for the annual 55+ Ageing Fair.
In its creation stages, this neighbourhood association has already begun engaging City residents in celebrations and neighbourhood festivities drawing neighbours closer to each other in the City.
The needy of our community have sought assistance to relieve food anxiety by visiting the St. Paul on-the-Hill Community Food Bank. The work done by this organization seems to be continually in need of expansion and support.
Derek’s Independent Grocer has been a centre for Turkey Donation to the St. Paul on-the-Hill Community Food Bank. Generous donors can purchase turkeys for donation at their grocery in Pickering.
A community organization helping giving residence and teaching life/work place skills to the needy with the goal of creating independent residents able to be independent members of our community.
