Try as we might, for some reason this leader does not sit well with us. Too slick. Too verbally polished. Too politically coloured with no other colours.
This leader has never worked a day in his life other than polishing his political persona. That’s not a comfortable fit.
Poilievre speaks a great game, polished, refined, practiced and smooth….too smooth. He speaks like a pro. He plays to the demands of media sound bites…glib, bite, sharp and refined.
This guy is a lot. He’s smooth, sophisticated, polished to a mahogoney sheen. For some reason in my view he lacks real substance. He hits the right notes, to the tune but he says nothing beyond what a pro politician would say.
He’s into a 30+ day campaign…will he change my view? We’ll see !
