The City council of Toronto has been receiving cost of living pay increases annually for many years. However, the councillors feel hard done by with just a cost of living pay increase. So they are voting for a 25% pay increase just to make life ‘more bearable’ for a city councillor. You don’t like it? Run for office although that’s really a closed shop for many, especially those who don’t a few thousand bucks to ante up as the cost of entry into the campaign for city council office.Nice job…if you can get it.

Managers at The Bay must be members of the old boys club.
