Thursday, April 3rd, was Greek Day at AMICA PICKERING. Music from the Ionian islands, iconic Greek foods, accompanied by Amica’s bar specials.
The food was spectacular, light fare, yummy but not heavy, from spanakopita, dolmades to Greek fries and flamed-seered cheese. Deeelicious!!! Kudos to house Chef Camilo Torres for presenting everyone with a menu that was not just flavourful but very much Greek in authenticity. The music never stopped for two hours, so the more than a hundred residents and their invited guests had an afternoon of getting away Greek style and first class!
Amica Pickering has these kinds of celebrations, Greek Fest, Caribbean Get Away, New Orleans Holidays…every couple of months and it invites people of Pickering to come and celebrate with the participating residents.
