The development as planned may be troubling for Pickering of tomorrow. Is it too much, too soon, too fast ?
Imagine the number of people. One of those building may house more than a thousand people, times five in that one little area. The impact will be enormous, the impact on traffic flow, on retailer need, on parking requirements, on emergency response teams.
A lot of planning is needed to deal with this level of development and we hope Pickering is up for it.
