Derek’s Independent Grocers, Pickering, is again sponsoring a Turkey Donation Drive to donate turkeys to the St. Paul ON-the-Hill Community Food Bank.
The procedure for the Dixie Rd/Finch Ave (Pickering) store, is as follows:
1. Come to the meat department in the store;
2. Choose the turkey size you wish to donate ($25 and up);
3. Pay the price of your donation.
Derek’s and the Food Bank will process your donation so the Food Bank receives a turkey equivalent or comparable to your donation.
