PICKERING’S Environmental Classroom
Strap on your best hiking clothes, and join the Pickering Naturalists and some of our great community groups across Ward 1 on Saturday, September 7th, for a family-oriented event focusing on birds, monarch butterfly migration, pollinators, wetlands, dynamic beaches and all things nature offers at Rotary Frenchman’s Bay West Park.
Meet at Environmental Information Kiosk (939 Beachpoint Promenade)
Activities include an Interpretive Hike with James Kamstra, Dan Shire and representatives from the Pickering Naturalist Club.
****To avoid the risk of ticks and mosquitoes, please wear appropriate clothing (i.e., light colours, track pants, and proper footwear/close-toed shoes).
Bring your own fillable water bottle, which can be refilled at the event.
