Pickering’s event by the waterfront, “FALL FLING,” ended on its second weekend of flinging and its last day was a tremendous success and celebration. Mother Nature gave the attendees the right fall weather, sunny and moderate temperatures, so it was comfortable walking outdoors in at the waterfront.
There were nearly 50 vendors, presenters, booths and even food purveyors making it a perfect day for families to browse, carouse, shop and snack. Pickering families of all ages, from adult to grand-adult brought their kids and their grandkids, and their DOGS. It was a wonderful day for those who could attend.
Compliments and kudos to Councillors Nagy and Brenner for the organization and presentation of this happy celebratory festivity on the Pickering waterfront.
As Councillor Nagy said, “We are working hard to make this into a winter celebration too.” So people need to stay tuned for more information and dates about the Fall Fling becoming a Winter Thing!!
